Tim Mackey Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 triple A's and only 300 mahr at that - sounds like they are a bit on the small side for decent elcetric flight to me, I have no idea what the slow sick in standard form consumes but I wouldnt be surprisd to see 6 - 8Amps or so and therefore those weedy little triple aaa cells awill be unable to deliver.Sounds like incapable batteries to me, and the LVC is kicking in and shutting down the motor. Try some larger ( capacity and can size) batteries like maybe some decent double A's around 1000 m/a or so - ordinary dry cells like in a torch or whatever, ( not flying ) and see if the problem goes away...if it does, well there ya go.
