Tony Read 2
I've been experimenting with mounting a Mobius camera on my quad, but can't seem to get rid of the picture wobble effect or 'jello' as the Americans call it. I've mounted it direct to a plate bolted to the quad but this was quite bad. I then experimented with different densities of foam dampening and I've also used Velcro but still cannot eliminate the problem. I've static balanced the props and still not good, although I did not have a magnetic prop balancer (one is now on order). There is a train of thought that static balancing is not effective, have a read of this article here So maybe dynamic balancing is the way to go? Anyone done this on their motors and props and how did you do it?

Anyone done this on their motors and props and how did you do it? Hi, I fly a DJI Phantom FC40 which I had added a Mobius to. I did suffer from some Jello but found two of the props needed balancing. I purchased a insulated carbon fibre mounting plate from ebay. It has a rubber bellow on each corner to insulate the camera from vibration. You may need to change the bellows dependant on weight. These can be purchased from stores such as Hobbyking. Hope that helps.
Mart49
Hi Tony I've had a similar problem and bought a prop balancer from ebay. Found it made quite a difference. Here's a link to my 450 with an Innov C1 camera attached with velcro. Martin
