Tony Read Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 It would appear that there have been several examples of the Phantom not responding to any Tx inputs during a flight and simply flying away. Some owners have never found their expensive quad and Go-Pro. Now, part of this might be down to the owner not setting his/her quad up properly, but this cannot be the whole storey as the manufacturers have updated the firmware and issued this vid. I am impressed by how the fail safe is supposed to work, but am more than a little concerned that the quad should react to EMF like that and just keep on flying away.
