Cyclicscooby
Go and have a chat with Maplin. Weve got a wireless setup with a 7" touch screen and SD recording. Up to 4 camera's, we have 2.. Its a stop gap to a bigger setup with hdd, but perfectly adequate in it s own right.. Useful for moving round the house or garden as its got built in power when its out of the dock. Cant remember £ or part no, soz, but its not hard to find on Maplin www.. wireless & touchscreen should get it.. Hth's a bit.. Luv Chrisie.. xx
Shaunie
You could also check out CPC Components, they are part of the Farnell group with a massive range of this sort of stuff. Just don't forget their prices are plus VAT. Shaunie.
John F
One good system that I know of is from Screwfix, it has the option to only record during certain times of the day, handy for when you know you'll be around so don't need to record, and only via motion detection if you want so can save a lot of needless recording. **LINK**
Richard Parnham
I bought a four camera system of ebay for £130 the cameras are 600 tvl and they give good enough quality to read number plates and recognise people in any light. The system will record each channel on a time schedule or if movement is detected. The only gripe is when switching to night mode the camera IR switches several times before settling down, couple of minutes at dusk and dawn of unwanted recording.
