Martyn K
I maidened my Taranis last Friday and it was wonderful, it performed all sorts of clever manoeuvres with only a little bit of input from me. However, I have a perpetual beep alarm running - beeps about 1 per second or so. At the time I chose to ignore it, I thought it was just letting me know that it was turned on or something, I didn't even register it was an alarm. It only really registered when I set my back-light to flash on alarm which it co-incidentally did (now there WAS a surprise). However, I am blowed if I can find the trigger for the alarm. I copied the model to a different memory and that one doesn't alarm. Any clues on how to identify what is triggering this? Cheers Martyn
Chris Jones 7
Sounds like the throttle alarm. Go to the menu first page, the one with the timers etc. Scroll down till you find throttle alarm/ alert and untick the the check box. Chris
Martyn K
Thanks Chris I thought that setting was to warn you that the throttle was not set to zero at power on.. Martyn

Martyn K
Sorted it Chris I had an alarm set inadvertently on elevator rate. I disabled that and its now silent again. However, I am not sure why that didn't carry across when I copied the model.. The flag you asked me to unset is definitely throttle at zero power on warning However, you gave me the clue I needed Thanks M
