Charlie Thomas Posted June 30, 2014 Share Posted June 30, 2014 After much consideration I finally purchased a Freewing rc Stinger 90mm EDF, I was hugely impressed with the communication and service from the guys at Reds as well as the quality and flight characteristics of the stinger, its fast but will also fly slow, good 5-8 min flight times off a 5000mah 40c battery and looks fantastic as well as quality hobby wing components at only £345 which is a superb price as I believe this the promised land of EDF flight with scale sequenced retracts and sprung landing gear as well as ultra bright twin landing lights. As well as the stinger I also noticed the rest of the freewing range they have as they are the only UK distributor of freewing rc such as the amazing looking me-262 and the a6 intruder I am saving up for currently. Posted July 19, 2015 Share Posted July 19, 2015 hello Charlie-there was a one of these at club site during the week and it really shifted through the sky..the EDF is supposed to develop more thrust than the early gas turbine job's..although the duration was a bit short...very impressive. ken Anderson...ne...1.....
