Mike Stevens
Picked up flying again after a couple of years off. Lipos have ben stored safely away but no particular maintenance. 3S 2200mah charges ok but didn't take a lot. Shows 12+ volts approx. 4.08v each cell until under load and obviously sick about 4v. Now can I cycle to bring back to life like Nimh cells or can I 'over charge' to kick start again or do I just cut the lead off and dispose of safely? Thanks Mike
Alan Gorham_
I think 4V per cell under load doesn't sound too shabby.... How big a load in Amps are you applying?
Mike Stevens
Hi Alan 4v off load each cell..... under load around 4v total - current draw is around 15 amps on a good pack. Mike
Dave Bran
Only 4.08v fully charged and static off load is very low. For the price these days its not worth the risk, discharge, leave for a week or two in salt water and dispose of. Alan Gorham_
Do you mean your total voltage for the 3S pack is 4V? If so I think your pack has had it...
