Clifford Stone
I live in an active flat field electric glider area, F5J, Multi launch and Bartletts competitions. I have been participating this year in 2m . . . 2 meters get a bit small at height, the old eyes are not what they used to be? So, I thought 3m+, I can see them better . . . or may be its the eyes watering when I look at the prices that causes problems??? However, the Reichard Models 'Cirrus and Mandarin' come in at an affordable figure compared with my 2m Sapphire and Pegasus. Any one got any experiance of these, I cant get any info on spinner size, T9 Models (the importers) 'think it might be 44mm'? T9 also suggest the Mandarin is a better engineered product. Looking at YouTube, the 'tail' boom looks a bit flexible, compared with the Cirrus?
