Now, since the latest efficiency drive, it's more like 16.00, if I'm lucky!! I expect they will soon be putting up the prices - again - bless 'em!! They sell replacement bits for Weller soldering irons, which I've not managed to source anywhere else in small quantities. They seem to be one of only a few commercial suppliers willing to cater for private buyers. kevin b Posted November 1, 2014 Share Posted November 1, 2014 I have known Farnell since it was owned by Mr Farnell and then his sons. We were mutual customers for many years ! They are very approachable and it doesn't matter if it's one or a thousand items, they are happy to deal with you. They are better known in the electronics market and particularly with radio amateurs. Not always the cheapest, but I have never had problems and their advice is usually spot on.
