Owen Davies 6
I recently attended my club bring and buy and ended up coming away with a rather nice low wing trainer for a song. Trouble is I have never seen the model before and nobody at the club could really shed any light on it. I thought I'd tap in to the power of the Internet and see if anyone can identify it. The wing span is approx 65" with a 12" chord. Length is around 47"

Owen Davies 6
Wow, I think you are bang on there Percy. What we have here is an Ol' Blue Eyes. I've had a look and the dimensions and materials seem to match the plan perfectly.....now to find a nice 61 - 80 4 stroker!
reg shaw
It looks like a Steve Holland 'Farmhand' with an open cockpit and headrest. Snazzy colour scheme too!! Ian.
reg shaw
......that was from a quick look though. A longer look sees the U/C on the wing as opposed to the fuselage and the span is 65" compared to the Farmhand 60. Fuselage cross section is still similar though!! Ian. Owen Davies 6
Yes, the Ol' Blue Nose.....don't know where eyes came from! I don't suppose you would be so kind as to tell me where the CG is on the plan. I better start saving my pennies for a four stroke that size!
