Gary Hawksworth Posted May 29, 2015 Share Posted May 29, 2015 The film covering on my ARTF model is lifting in places and won't stick with the use of an iron. I have tried some new film and that does not work either. the model uses glow fuel and there is some light contamination but nothing excessive. can anyone recommend how I can remix the covering? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FlyinBrian Posted May 29, 2015 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Give the wood you are sticking the film to a good wipe with cellulose thinners or acetone then give the wood a coat of "Balsaloc" then try ironing the film down again. If all else fails use medium CA glue; cover the wood with CA then press the film onto it smoothing out any air as you go. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
