Nick Davey
Hi everyone, i am just starting to learn to fly powered models and am getting some great help from my instructor. However we both feel my confidence would be greatly improved with the addition of a buddy lead. I fly using a Futaba 6ex 2.4ghz and he flies with a futaba ff9 35mhz does anyone know if these are compatible to use on a buddy system?ThanksNick
birdy
They should be I think (off the top of my head). I have a 2.4GHz 6ex, and my instructer uses that and I use a club owned Futaba Sky Sport 4, and it works fine, even though the SS4 isn't exactly a new design. Think it says in the manual, but you'll definitely need to swap txs.
