Simon Cunliffe Posted May 22, 2016 Share Posted May 22, 2016 Hi I'm on with a build of a Scandera 60" and have a few questions: 1) When I cut out the opening for the battery/tx should I put some sort of reinforcing in such as a ply plate? However there are four lengths of 2 mm carbon rod to insert on the length of the fuz (hope that makes sense) should this be enough? 2) What is the best way to install a switch/charging lead? 3) I intend to prep the EPP with 3m 77 adhesive prior to covering, just one light coat? Do I let it dry out fully before applying the cross-weave tape? 4) I believe CG is critical on this type of glider. What's the neatest way of trimming out when it is all nicely covered?
