Gemma Jane Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 Hi Gavin Don't dispair, it's a good idea to start on the sims, I used FMS for helis... but.... it is way harder to fly helis on the sim than it is to fly the little coaxial helicopters like the Twister Hawk or Blade CX-2. I haven't progressed past those yet, still having fun buying trick bits for the CX-2 and making a couple of custom body shells, just thought I would let you know that I found the sims are much harder than actually doing it just in case it put you off. For some reason though my 10 year old son can fly the sims perfectly, he learnt to hover an actual coaxial in about a hundredth of the time it took me also (and there is me thinking about taking a trial helicopter lesson) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
