Hi its time to change my radio gear, can any one tell me or give a report on the Futaba ff7 2.4mgz , with all the problem talk about the 2.4 radio's I need reliability as I now live in Ireland and the nearest shop is 40 miles away and have not stocked them, so most items I need are UK sorced

These threads need to be considered in the relevant context.

Overall the faults (whatever cause) are few and usually far between. The threads main aims are to seek a better understanding of the systems and thereby promote better ‘housekeeping’ and reliable operation by avoidance of bad practice.

I've flown 2.4GHz for 14 months now and my 6EX has been rock solid and never missed a beat. The FF10 with 2.4 module is looking good too after about 10 hours of flying with it. For electric models and in particular higher powered electric models it's just the very best and those glitches become a thing of the past.

The only folks it doesn't accomodate are carbon fuselage models which is a pity. The few issues reported - Spectrum low voltage issue and Futaba common-coding TX issue - look to have been dealt with by the distributors/manufacturers.

Just to put this to bed, I have now receved  a  Futaba c10 3 recevers 14 sevos and a giro I got it on the web and got a great discount in the UK, Im still playing with it as this is the fist computer radio that does not use toggle switchs (Fleet ff/ Omega)  no trouble with the manual I even put my name on the screen ! Wll recomended Thanks Lads
