micarus
Hi , Just a quicky so say hello and ask if anyone flys in my area,<Ripon /Thirsk I am interested in gliders and starting in electric. I started in the mid 70s but have not flown much in the last twelve years or so and even then not with any success, so have decided to go back to grass roots and get back into slope soaring and then progress to electric.I would like to find out anyone who flys at Sutton bank or knows of any reason why I shouldn't I am a paid up member of B.M.F.A. I also have a phase 6 . Cheers MIKE.

Owen Hailey
Hi Mike.I am a member of a gliding club, and they have a strong model club on the site. and the two seam to fit in very well as the model club flies at times when the gliders are not flying. It pays to ask as they can only say no.happy flying Owen.

Geoff Peacock
Hi Mike, I'm over at Grassington and fly with Keighley club (West Yorks). If you go to the BMFA website, they have a list of clubs. Go to http://www.bmfa.org/clubs/clist.php put your county (N. Yorks) into the selection box and you'll probably find what you're looking for. You've got clubs in York, Harrogate, Nidderdale, Catterick and Tadcaster and more. Hope that helps. Cheers! Geoff
