Bob Morris 2
Hi All, My son has aquired an unused Thunder Tiger .25 that would be perfect for the aircraft kits that retailed as 'Pilot'. Any idea where I may source one of these? Bob
Alan Gorham_
They do pop up on Ebay fairly often, but they usually command high prices for unstarted kits as they are considered collectable. Sites such as Outerzone have copies of the kit plans that you can download, but obviously you would be on your own with any canopy and cowl mouldings. Bob Morris 2
Thanks Alan I can imagine these kits being a collectors item as they were of excellent quality and went together beautifully. I used to have the Bucker Jungmeister that could be carried in a reasonably sized car fully assembled. I may have to look at current kits or plan/packs. Alan Gorham_
If you have an Ebay account, just setup a search alert for something like "OK Pilot R/C aircraft kit" and Ebay will email you when one appears for sale. Sometimes you can win them under the radar! Gordon Whitehead has a plan for a terrific 25 sized Jungmeister and the cowl is built up from balsa, so no problems there. Gordon is a member of this forum and I'm sure he'll tell you what a good flyer it is! Plan here: **LINK**
Jimbo565
Just finished these two, Aeronca Champ from a kit and the PT19 from a plan supplied by Derick Scott (flyer21 uk) on ebay
