Derek Proctor
Cheers Owen, you gave me an idea,so i went herehttp://www.tapdie.com/html/drill_blanks_hss_metric_drill_.htmlThe 1.5mm blank "might" do, so ive emailed em to ask how long thay are.If thay are 2" to 21/2", then im in buisiness. Lets hope so!Buck and Hickman are off line at the moment.Derek.
Derek Proctor
The main shaft on the Walkera 4#3b is not magnetic, so i think it is stainless steel. Silver steel is magnetic Derek.
Owen Hailey
Hi Derek.I made one for my Copterx, and the standard one bent so I tyred to straiten it and it snapped so I then made one out of stainless steel and that one bent to. so I can only think that the grade they use is quite hard and this means it is high carbon and not stainless.happy hunting Owen.
