Sopwith Camel Electric Conversion

Looks great, Cliff and a couple of greaser landings as well.

I'll be building a DB 60" ws Sopwith Pup as soon as my current build is done - or probably over the autumn/winter. It will be electric and will probably weigh around the same. What's your electric set up (battery, motor, current, prop, rpm etc) just to give me a feel for what I'll do myself?

I'm thinking 4s will suffice turning a 13x6.5 prop but I haven't given it any deep thought. I have that sort of set up for my 2 58" DB Moths (tiger and Gypsy/Cirrus) and they fly well on that.

Thanks, Cliff. Just a bit more info to store away. I've done a few electric conversions now and they've mostly been successful. I was flying the Gypsy Moth today and I love it. I just hope my 60" Sopwith Pup is as good. I'll be starting the build in just a few weeks once my Ryan ST is finished.
