Soldering I'm okay with. 2 years or so ago I was gifted a VR headset for my flight simming. I have a yoke and love flying cessna and pipers. So I wanted a throttle/mixture/prop USB controller. Saitek discontinued making them so I decided to try and make one using my 3d printer and laser cutter and 'bodge it' skills. Anyway, I made a design and ended up selling a lot of them on ebay and online to flight sim enthusiasts over Europe. As you might have worked out, I like making things!! I've stopped making them purely as I don't have the time. Here's what a few types looked like. Used a USB joystick interface from Leo Bodnar and sliding potentiometres.
