jonathan broadhurst
I have decided to build my gentle lady wing as a 1 piece. (thanks everyone for the advice regarding this). I'm now scratching my head as i am trying to join inboard and outboard wing panels at polyhedral. There seems to be a slight horizontal angle in the wing joiners. As they are 1/16" ply they are quite rigid so can't put any bend in. I'm really not sure where to go with this so any help will be most apreciated. Cheers jonny
Andy Butler
This is not uncommon in many kits. If I remember correctly, the main spar angles back slightly in the tip panel. I got an odd piece of hardwood and made a fillet that took up the difference and epoxied that in, then fitted the ply joiner. I've done this many times and never had one fail. Andy. jonathan broadhurst
Thanks Andy . When you look at the plan i think there is a bit of artistic licence in the joiner. Jonny
