Lew Weaver Posted October 11, 2008 Share Posted October 11, 2008 We (myself and some club members) have a question about Spektrum gear which we are hoping someone on here can answer. When the Tx is switched on it searches for picks and locks onto 2 free channels - is that correct? If so - how does that work, and, if the Tx is placed, say on the damp ground, is it possible that it could pick channels that are already in use through not "seeing" them? Tim Mackey Posted October 11, 2008 Share Posted October 11, 2008 Thats correct. GUID ( Globally Unique Identifier ) prevents any 2.4Ghz equipment from acquiring a channel that is already in use.
