andy watson
I have a futaba 2.4 gig 6EX transmitter, and a 617 receiver- no problems with it at all. The tx & rx are bound to each other, and work fine. But my tx has 6 model memories, and I am in the process of building my second plane. As I have already spent far more than I thought I would, I am quite keen to avoid spending more than I have to, and I wondered could I use the same receiver in both?So in essense can I have the same receiver set up as model 1 & 2 on my tx, presumably with the settings saved differently on both? Mike Bell
There should be no problem using the receiver in any number of planes. All the programming set up is in the transmitter, the receiver just does as it is told. Just make sure you select the correct program in the transmitter for the appropriate model.Mike
birdy
You'll need to think of a crafty (ish) way of moving it around from plane to plane easily though.

260 Flyer
I currently have 7 airworthy airframes and only 2 receivers! The only problem is that the 6EX only has 6 memories.Just note down each models program details, label each servo lead and it only takes a few minutes to swap over an RX
birdy
I was thinking more about reliably positioning arials without damaging them.
260 Flyer
Just glue a thin tube ( drinking straw, paper tube etc) in the position of each aerial and they will be held in place and protected at the same time. Then you can just slide them out of one plane and into another.
