Derek Williams
Hi, i, like many others have dragged an old kit out of the loft to find that the plans are missing! In my case it’s an old Flair Cub model. I have managed to build the fuselage from drawings sourced on the internet but can’t do the wings. can someone please help me with a copy? I have tried the confusing Flair website to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated regards and thanks Derek
Mike Etheridge 1
Derek, I have got a set of drawings that were included with the second hand Cub I have just refurbished. There are instructions with sketches for both 'built up', and foam /hardwood wings plus aileron installation details. However there are no full size plans so I am not sure they were ever included. As the printers are likely to be closed I cannot get the plans copied at present, but I can scan the instructions and sketches if you want them? Phil McCavity
Depending on your level of building experience all you need is the rib profile, spacing and chord to make up a set, the rest is a straightforward constant chord wing build with laminated balsa wing tips (the original ones were in 3 pieces, laminated is far stronger). Dave Cunnington
Derek, Google for Flair Cub build blog, I don't remember where from but I have a copy of pics and words which I think should sort you out. If you cannot find them I could always attach what I've got to an email for you Why not PM me with your email address ? Rgds DC

Robin Colbourne
There's a cheap Flair Cub with a built up wing here. He infers he built it, so may have the plans. Flair Cub on EBay
