Piston and Liner requred for an OS40FX

Just engines have no stock, so now I am on the lookout for a piston and liner for an OS40FX. 

Will take an OS, ASP or SC  as they are interchangeable. 

 

Do you have an old crashed, gummed up or generally neglected engine with a decent piston and liner.

Hi Kevin, try  www.rcjapan.net.

They are a lot cheaper than you can buy in the UK and they have a direct link with OS in Japan.

Ive just bought a new piston, liner, conrod and pins from them. It took 6 days from order to delivery.

Most OS spares here go through Ripmax, they said it would not be available till July. I was also quoted and unbelievable price.

They wanted £200+ for my parts, from Japan OS I paid £95, that included postage and customs clearance.

You will need the part number for piston and liner. You might want to replace your conrod and piston pin.

I did manage top source a "clone" SC piston and liner in the UK.

 

I have also bookmarked that website for future use.
