Adrian Smith 1
Righto thanks......so what's the answer? Do I buy some proportional servos with enough power to drive the retract? There isn't much room to alter the servo arms' length on the retract servos, but is that a possibility?
Tim Mackey
Either option is possible I guess..although the first one is more costly!
Chris Bott - Moderator
This is going off topic now... however:- Non Proportional retract servos with 180deg travel are used for good reason. If the pushrod geometry is aranged correctly, any side loads on takeoff or landing are taken straight through the centre of the servo bearing, rahther than being transmitted through a geartrain, possibly stripping gears. Setting them up is a tricky job, usually done with a disk rather than an arm. You drill holes at various spacings until you have retracts fully up and down but without any servo binding at the ends. I'm sure I've seen an article on here somewhere.

fly boy3
Hi all,Is there any conflict or safety issues regarding the use of 2.4gig tx,and 2.4gig video camera at the same time. Could be a daft question, as I know very little about either. Thanks flyboy3
