Simon Chaddock
Hunter A wood prop may look nice but they do break more easily in any sort of rough "arrival" and most WWI tail dragger types will nose over on landing very easily. Of course electric plastic props will also break but can withstand more abuse. Even in a scale competition a scale 'display' prop will be changed for plastic for flight. Another benefit of an 'e' prop is they tend to be just a bit more efficient at converting those precious battery Watts into thrust. To mis use a supermarket slogan with electric "Every little helps".
