wess
Hi all.....i would like your views on this.....I have a new Elysium LX60B Pro Charger and although most of my batteries are LiPo's and it charges these very well thought i would try some oldish NM Hydrides using the NiMH setting.....batts are 7cell 300 mAh so i set charge rate at 300 mA and put it on charge. Surprisingly the voltage finished at 11volts and after 2 days it is still at 10.3 volts.......i was not expecting much over 8.4 volts so i am a bit miffed.....any comments please......PS a very merry Christmas to all...and looking forward to some decent flying weather!!!wess. Tim Mackey
Fresh off the cooker, 7 x NiMH cells will get to around 1.5 - 1.6V each if in good condition - thats 11.2V so nothing odd there.8.4V is the NOMINAL voltage only.
