John Busuttil
Hello everyone, I'll introduce myself whilst posting this thread =]Right, I've just built an EF Edge 540, and got to the end of the build and realised there are 2 carbon rods stuck to the bottom of the box, and there was, and still is no mention of the carbon rods in the build manual!! They are only small, about 7" and 2mm diameter, and I've had a look over the plane and can't see where they could possibly go, they aren't pushrods.. If anybody else here has built an edge by ef, would you know anything about these rods?If not we maiden tomorrow! Thanks, John

Grant Darnley
If this is the leccy version then they are additions, probably for tailplane struts which mine flew fine without, and it's probably best contacting Freestyle RC to find out why, they weren't in mine. Only problem is FRC are closed until the 19th so an email to extreme flight in the US might return a quicker response. If this the I.C. profile then I'm even more baffled as there isn't a bit of carbon on it.Rob, the pushrods are metal on both the above,
