Hi Ken It is mine actually, and indeed is now a slope soarer...of sorts.

I picked it up at the Nats this year, as a "project"

It was originally a pusher ( IC ) and ina bit of a sorry state, so I rebuilt it, and it now flies quite well as a sloper, although fairly critical on wind speed - preferring around 20-25MPH for easonable performance - although not particularly fast, as it is a bit draggy. I am afraid I do not know its origins other than it is scratch built from, I guess, someone's plan.

Eric Bray on this here forum did his own plan of a slope soaring Hawk, which was I believe published in one of the mags a few years back, called the "Rivington hawk"  - I am sure he probably still has the info /plan and he will probably be along with soe words of wisdom soon, as he is primarily a glider guider at heart. The other excellent Hawk ( purpose built for the slope )is the Andy Conway version, and if you check out the PSSA website ( click here for link ) you will find details. Good luck with your search, and have fun on the slope. If you get really stuck, let me know, and I will send you as much info and photos as I can of this one...... I virtually rebuilt it from scratch anyway, so it should be do-able, perhaps with a better wing section too than this has. It is balsa fuse, sheet all moving tail, and veneered foam wings.
