toto Posted September 5, 2023 Share Posted September 5, 2023 I'm looking for a front nose wheel strut for DHC 6 Twin Otter ( with sprung hydraulic ) to replace the standard piano wire effort. I can buy a complete kit of three part landing gear with electric retracts but the Twin Otter only requires the nose wheel to accomodate a strutt ( with no electric retract). I don't want to spend £ 157.00 for the three piece retractable strutts just to get the front nose wheel version. Does anybody have such a suitable beast or know where I can get one. Macgregor industries and hobby plastics do the full set of three but don't appear to sell the front strutt separately. I'm not in any particular rush either ..... just looking ahead.
