Jon
I have been using Phoenix for well over a year now and have been updating it every time that a new update has become available... But just of late while flying with others from all across the world I keep getting messages saying that I may need to download new updates. The messages pop up in colour in the message area while flying with others. They say things like "Error you may need to download "White_Blue" form the phoenix website" I have been on the site and searched and searched but just cant find anything new to down load, nor are any new downloads found by the automatic download software. Am I missing something or is it my age By the way when I create a multiflying session on the web I use the header "www.modelfying.co.uk/forum" hope to meet you there sometime Jon... Jonathan Lewzey
I think these error messages are custom schemes individuals have created. Don't even ask me how to do it, i haven't got a clue! I've been on a session called www.modelflying.co.uk/forum at the Moscow field. Was that you?

Jon
Nice one JL... sorry I had to log off of Phoenix jon
Jonathan Lewzey
I had to log off too when my sister wanted the PC for homework! Flying jets through the hole in the fence is almost impossible, but prop is ok. Did you notice we had a midair when i wen through inverted? Nice flying Jonathan
Jon
Cor thats not fair is it...tell her to buy her own PC sisters erh! sent mine to Spain I was impressed with your control ... how on earth do you keep it in your face like that... In which town do you live ? I;m on Hayling Is on the south coast jon
Jonathan Lewzey
Send her to Spain - now thats an idea! Trouble is its a shared PC. Prop hanging is a bit of a personal Forte and i the Yak i was flying has been modified to improve slow speed handling and 3D flight. I'm based in Caddington which is a village near Luton, Bedfordshire. South coast - are you a Hastings member? One of my clubmates used to be. Jon
Hayling Is is near Portsmouth so I'm in the PADMAC club What mods have you done to it... are they to help you hang like that?
Jonathan Lewzey
Before it felt really overweight and handled poorly at low speeds. i reduced the weight to 1kg and increased the control throws to 50 deg aileron and 60 deg rud and ele to improve control in the prop hang. I've done a similar thing to the PA mini Katana and have actually got it to spin BACKWARDS!
Jonathan Lewzey
Another mod aswell is the GTX on 5:1 power to weight under the 'thrust' heading. Goes like a rocket!
