Hi All

In October last year Paul Newell asked if the two aileron outputs of the AR500 are a simple Y type connection or separately programmable from, typically a DX7 to give flaperon or brake facilities.

He got two answers in opersite directions, i.e. he got one vote for each.

Can anyone give a definetive answer please.

Bob

This receiver does have a 5th channel for gear as well as the additional outlet for another aileron servo. Just bought one and checked it out on the bench. You are correct in that the additional aileron channel is effectively a Y lead so you cannot reverse the additional aileron servo you will have to check direction etc the old way by linkage setup.

Hope this clarifies matters.
