Rosemary - Scale Me Down
Just finished building a spitfire, now time for something easier. Decals on this park flyer look great, suit me down to the ground

David Ashby - Moderator
I recognise the chap (Mike or Matt?) on the right from the Nat's - craft stand in the tea tent? - we've chatted before in the evening hangar sessions too. Nice models.

Rosemary - Scale Me Down
Hi, Re; David Ashby ; Yes that is us from our craft stall Woodbugs & One-Offs. We have written a short letter / article about the build of the latest Balsacraft Spitfire if you are interested for your magazine. You may also remember we manufacture bottle rocket launcher kits (photos included below) if you are interested in running a feature on something a bit different. Re; Jordan ; The kit is a Balsacraft Spitfire and Fw 190 (no longer available) although an interesting story never the less Spitfire : Motor: Tornado 3538 (from overlander) esc: So Simple 50A UBEC: Turnigy 3A LiPo: Rhino 3s 3700mAh (from BRC Hobbies) Prop: Master Airscrew 11 X 7 Fw-190: Motor : 980kV brushless salvaged from a GAUI EP550 helicopter esc: GAUI 50A opto Seperate custom Rx battery ( 2 two cell nicad packs wired in series) - this allows them to sit inside the cowl right up in the nose - thanks Overlander LiPo: Rhino 3s 3700mAh (from BRC Hobbies) Prop: Master Airscrew 11 X 7 Re; Eric Bray ; Sorry, it is actually a Flair quarter scale kit - the pilot is an AH designs guy but his head dropped to bits with repeated applications of fuel and sunlight over a few years. After a bit of "surgery" his new head came from Pete Richardson (Pete's Pilots on ebay) and turns on a micro servo slaved to the rudder channel. David Ashby - Moderator
Letters always welcome Rosemary, do drop us a line when you have a moment. The bottle launchers sound like a good subject for the website here so feel free to send in some text and pics and I'll pop it up as an article.
