Vic Driver
hi, can anyone help with info on where to get these small servo connectors or do I need to buy the complete servo to get them.thanks
Tim Mackey
Available in many places these days Vic, including HERE. Unless you have the correct crimping toll, I suggest you buy the plug+lead thingy
Vic Driver
Thanks Timbo,I've put that site in my favourites,do you happen to know the correct description for those sockets? I'll get convertor leads, then I don't need to change the plug on the servos.
Tim Mackey
Well Vic that kinda depends on what exactly you want. A "plug" on the end of a simple servo cable is simply called a servo plug -- although in truth the "pins" in the plug are actually sockets! These connect onto pins in the receiver. Once you start getting into extension cables and ASHLOKS etc, things get slightly more complicated.
Vic Driver
I think they are jst fittings, just wanted it confirmed
Tim Mackey
Now... JST fittings could be either JST XH balance connectors like this Or JST battery type connector like this. Either way...nowt to do with servos Vic !
Vic Driver
I looked up the receiver on a couple of shop sites and both descriptions say they are jst sockets.
Tim Mackey
Are we talking about a specific Spektrum receiver here Vic - The AR6400 Ultra Micro-Rx as found in the Blade and vapor etc?? If so, then these special ( and IMO lousy ) connectors are available on a fly lead from HERE
Vic Driver
no,it's the micro ar6300,having said that,we finally got to where I can buy them,I've just bought some off them, and if they're right i can order some more. thanks for all the help Timbo,I know I can always count on the forum to sort my problems out.
