Dave Drew
Searching for a period biplane (anything other than the thousands upon thousands of tiggies) that grace our skies I find myself attracted to the Flair Bristol Fighter.Quite a step up from ARTF mending and Cambrian Fun fighters I hear you sayAny advice re problems found in the build and the ever vexing engine/cowling/exhaust arrangements that people have found to work would be welcome. I've gotta ASP 61 to drop in the beast at present.Spent the last year building a workshop prior to retirement and this will be the first 'biggish' job
Lew Weaver
The two Flair Bristol Fighters that I have been near have not been good flyers. The one in our club was built from the kit and turned out to have wrong incidence angles on the wings (negative). It was (and still is) a pig to turn.Sorry to be so negative, but if you decide to go ahead be sure to check all the angles.

Garry Millington
Hi! Anyone out there had any experience with the Flair Bristol fighter, I have been told it is a pig to turn. I have only seen one fly and I'm not too sure on the quality of build but this thing just won't turn right under power. Rudder & ailerons coupled. If they all fly this, has anyone got a resolve?
