DSX9 - changing mode 1 to mode 2

Couldn't find anything on the web. Seems easy to change the software, but nothing in the manual on how to do the stuff inside the tx. Anyone done it or have a web link showing it? Ta.

Hi Alex,

 

I have one of these radios and if you bought yours new there should be a flat spring thing that came with it. If you take the back off the Tx and move the throttle stick you should see/hear where the ratchet affects the movement. simply remove the ratchet and swap it with the one on the opposite stick. Job done!

 

Have a look at pages 9 and 19 of the manual.

Just had a rethink. You will need that other flat spring thing as this is the tension adjustment .

THanks Doug. Found the picture of the internals so I know where the tension screws are. Still trying to work out where the ratchet is. No picture of that. I shall have another look when I get a minute.

Once you get the back off you will see it easily.

I think you will find the ratchet pawl as such is actaully part of the quadrant of the stick assembly itself, as Doug syas, should be quite obvious once you start taking it to bits - watch out for tiny screws and springs flying off and getting lost.

Sorted. Ta! Those springs were something special Right just need to swap a spare futaba charger over and I'm good to go.
