Keith Garner
I an thinking of purchasing my first computer transmitter. It will probably be Futaba as all my existing receivers are Futaba (or Futaba compatable). All my receivers and crystals are Single Conversion. Does a computerised Tx work with these or will I have to change to Dual Conversion receivers?
winchweight
It'll work fine with a single or a dual conversion rx. Just be sure the rx has the correct crystal type in it.I started with a Hitec Optic6, which was great. I then bought a Futaba 6EXA which is a great beginners tx, albeit a little limited in features. But my Optic and the 6EXA couldn't really talk to each other, so I upgraded the Optic for a FF9. Another great tx.
