He could just replace the fuz and carry on Mustanging but ha fancies a change, so does anyone know whether the PZ Me 109 is a suitable replacement shell for the radio gear in the P51? David Ashby - Moderator Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 Hi David - does he have the brushless (latest version) P-51? The radio gear would be fine but I don't think the motor would have the grunt to be convincing - it'll probably fly the '109 but not very well. The 109 is 43" span weighs 35oz while the latest P-51 is 39" span and 25oz. The P-51 has a brushless 480 class motor and the '109 a '15' class which is bigger. If he's got the older brushed version then, with all due respect, you can forget it - suggest he finds a budget brushless and ESC combo.
