Steve Hargreaves - Moderator Posted November 15, 2011 Share Posted November 15, 2011 AWG...American Wire Gauge...the bigger the number the smaller the diameter of the wire...32AWG is pretty small....about as small as you can reliably solder by hand.... Typical R/C wires are around 24/26AWG & obviously these are fine for their intended use......Its worth trying to use lower gauge (thicker) wire if you have a long extension lead run to preserve the signal integrity & voltage but by long I mean several metres.....big gliders & the like.
