Bob Vaughan
Anyone help with advice please.............I recently purchased a couple of JR DS8455 and a DS8321 servos which when fitted seem to work fine but emit a constant humming/clicking noise. If I disconnect the servo arm's from their respective aileron linkages the noise stops, but as soon as they are reconnected, ie they are slightly 'loaded' by the simple weight of the control surface, the noise starts again. Am I right in thinking that they are simply working to 'hold position' ?. Thanks and Happy New Year to All. Bob V
Andy Symons
Pretty much yes, the weight of the surfaces is enough to cause the "buzzing" its normal.
Bob Vaughan
Thanks Andy..............I have a number of JR DS811's fitted to other models that never made a sound (or missed a beat for that matter!) so this new noise was a little disturbing.
