Phil 9
I have a 64 inch wingspan Super Chipmunk Kit. I am not sure what scale accessories I need. Pilot decals ect. Am I right in thinking 1/6th accessories would suit best. Or will 1/5th items look better>>

Phil 9
Thanks Eric. I have the Carl Goldberg kit. The cock pit is only fitted with one seat (so not exact scale) but it is towards the back anyway. I started building yesterday and got the tail done and started on the first wing today. All good so far but plenty of work to go. but with the weather as it is there is not much flying to be done anyway.
Phil 9
I think the wingspan of the original was 31 ft 4 in with the original chipmunk having a wingspan of 34 ft 4 in I think it works out to a scale of 1/5.
winchweight
Super Chippy is single seat I think. The military varient is a 2 seat trainer and I think that's what Eric meant. Super Chippy Mil Chippy
Phil 9
Its ok I know what he means. The pilot sits near to the rear of the canopy but a lot of models have the pilot sat in the middle of the canopy
