Tim Mackey
5lb+ pattern ship type model, which will require a good power to weight ratio then, at least 100 watts per pound and probably better at 150.This means a powertrain of around 750 Watts. Decent size prop of maybe 13 X 6 or so.Motor therefore low Kv and capable of at least 750 watts - how about this one ?750 watts means current will be too high ( IMO ) on anything less than 5s battery.Current on 5s will be circa 40+ amps, so get a 50A ESC minimum.
