    Cub

Phil depends what you want really as Cub`s come in all sizes and power options.A really good artf Cub is the Hanger 9 1/4 scale but it comes at a price!Model is well built with good detail and is a very good flying machine. You can fly it slow and gentle but if you want a bit of action it will roll, loop and fly inverted with ease.As I say it comes at a price, kit in excess of £400, needs a good size engine(120 four stroke?)but the end result is excellent.

  3. Nice to read so many good reports about Horizon Hobbies as they certainly reflect my experience with this company,I sent my DX6i back not knowing there was a re-call and when I asked if there was a chance of a refund of my postage costs I was very politely told that this was against company policy,2 hours later I got an e-mail saying a 6100 rx was on it`s way to me as a good will gesture.I have also needed a spare part for a Hanger 9 kit and this was sent almost next day. They are one of the best companies I have dealt with, another firm that gives really good service is Laser Engines.A pity some of our big national companies seem unable to match the standards of these two.
  4. Thanks Jonathan and Keith for the info re F/W cowl size it sounds as if it will be very, very tight and probably not viable, especially if the plan is for up to 90 f/s.From memory I think the Gemimi is approx 7 5/8". I will just have to make another choice!
  5. Been following your Focke Wulf build ,looking very good so far.I have been considering my next build and pretty sure it will be a `Taylor` warbird.I would love to put my 120 Gemini into a radial cowl, could you tell me what the internal diameter of your FW cowl is please.Thanks.
