  1. My aileron equipped Terry S has had a sudden impact with Terra Firma after it decided to roll of it's own accord suddenly and uncontrollaby. Most likely cause being a stripped and locked servo gear which was apparent immediately after said impact. Upon close inspection the model is fine apart from the front end which is deformed beyond recognition, and the prop and spinner broken beyond repair. Luckily, the motor, ESC + other leccy bits seem to be in working order. Now, I'm wondering how to proceed forward and have identified a few options. 1. I could try to repair the nose, buy and fit new prop, spinner and servo and continue to fly the model as before. 2. As above but revert back to RET. Both the above depend upon a successful repair and extra cost! So...... 3. I could use the Motor/ESC in my Elektro Uhu as a direct replacement for the stock brushed set-up which is on it's last legs. Would be nice to have more get up and go for gaining height quickly. 4. Then repair the nose of the Terry, forget a motor and use it as a pure sloper, either with or without ailerons. What would you do in my position? Steve.         Edited By Steve Colman on 16/08/2012 17:50:40
  2. I'm fortunate enough to live in the foothills of the Pyrenees in northern Spain. There are many beautiful and interesting places to visit and photograph, such as the Castillo de Loarre as featured below.
  3. Hi Tom, If the DX7 is anything like my DX6i you should be able to reverse both aileron servos very easily. On the DX6i the servo plugged into Rx Ail port is reversed using the aileron N/R option on the TX. The servo plugged into Aux1 on the Rx is reversed using the "Flap" N/R option on the Tx. I'm sure it must be a very similar scenario with the DX7. Steve.
