Living 80km from Santa Cilia I couldn't pass up the chance of spending a day at the World Champs. The flying doesn't really start in earnest until tomorrow so a friend and I spent the day looking in awe at the models, and chatting to the competitors including the fine gentleman in the photo below. Robert, As Pete B say's, not worth the effort. I use good quality NiMhd batteries with a Dx6i and they last for ages. I always have a spare set or two charged and ready just in case when I go to the field as I usually carry a couple of cameras with me too. Go ahead and use the Nimhd's - it's a no brainer. Steve.

Mostly Deans for the same reasons as Ian Jones above. However, my last lipo purchases came with XT60's and I do find them easier to manipulate.
