Hi all Just purchased Labelle DLG, and I am doing something stupid but being stupid I cant put my finger on it .What I have got is a Ni_MH 300mAH 4.8v Battery, 6 channel orange receiver, 4 micro servos equivalent to what they suggest ,managed to bind receiver to my DX 9 tx and had all surfaces moving as should for about 1 minute then suddenly light goes out and everything goes all to pot and when I remove battery and try again it wont bind, then it will ....then the light flashes as to bind then it stops and goes out all together..... tried another receiver but same thing .When I put battery on change it says 5.2 v .Any help would be welcome ....ready to fly but cant get power system to function Regards Taff

When you come by a model with no instructions i.e. control throws, CG etc...... where do you start ? I have seen plenty of info about calculating the CG but nothing about start points of throws for ailerons/elevator/rudder /even flaps . by this I mean where do you start with setting the control throws? sorry if I have missed a thread on this but cant seem to find any start points! Don't want to just guess and throw it into mother earth Regards Taff

Hi All Have just purchased Bixler 2 foamy ,very nice model have been looking on the forum for tips on the build and have taken on board quite a few,the help I need is ..The control throws for all surfaces including flaps , nowhere in the small manual is there any reference to these, on the forum there are some ref to these but only touching briefly nothing specific unless I am missing something, don't want to just guess as I am still a bit of a newbie , just want a sedate flight at this time.....so if any of you gent have a Bixler with a good set up I would appreciate if you could pass them on to me (in laymen's terms) i.e. 6mm up 6 mm down etc... Hi All I have now a few aircraft which are hand launched ,I like flying them but I am getting a bit long in the tooth for the over arm fling and other ways ,so I have acquired a bungee launcher witch looks like a winner, the question is where and how do I work out how to fix - adapt the hook ,what kind of hook is best ....is there a formula IE...a balance point maybe ?any help on this matter would be appreciated, I am sure there must be other silver flyers out there in the same boat so to speak he he Thanks in advance Taff

Hi don't know if I am in the correct place, just trying to get some info on the free goody (quad copter)been weeks now and still not received it ,I have been told that they have sent it but must have gone missing and have sent another but that was ages ago and still not seen anything ,where do I go from here ....any help would be greatly appreciated....Taff

Is that it then do we just forget it .......how many people have missed out on this so called free goody that your supposed to get for being a valued customer .......at least have the desency to tell us if we are not going to receive it .Thanks

Hi All been looking at the orange receivers ....has anyone been flying with them for any length of time,would you say they are reliable,I like the price but not sure of the reliability issues, any thoughts.Would not like to jeopardize my lovely models for a cheapy RX but if they are OK could save a bit ...Whats the verdict..not a scrooge but like a bargain Taff

Hi All Thinking of putting a bungee hook on my df-32 wings-maker Panther,does anyone know how to work out the position of the hook?I would have thought it would be relevant to the CG but how do you work it out ,any help would be appreciated especially if someone has already done this on this or simular model ,many thanks in advance. Hi Just about ready to fly ..just installing power set,have multicont bl-70 s-bec speed controller to which I have changed the connector to EC3 which all my batteries have ...I have now purchased two 3300mAh 3s 45-90 c discharge with 4mm banana connectors on 10 awg wires ,the query I have is... can I fit EC3s to the batteries safely? the speed controller is tucked away neatly and I don't want to disturb if I can help it (a bit awkward to get in place) ,not sure of power rating of the connectors !! Could I Make a adaptor lead IE EC3 to 4mm banana and use this between ESC and batteries? could someone point me in the right direction please Thanks in advance Taff
