  5. the cut on my thumb i was cutting away from my self just a shame a was holding the other end but i can now feel and move my thumb all be very little so i think a good job done as was told expect to loose the nerves that side and as for the prop strike model was restrained i was just thoughtless and my hand went in the arc its just a so-and-so trying to get blood out of balsa and not being able to even think of flying for more than 12 weeks as for the futaba issue so easy done may be fail safe wrong way round and tx turn off and back on when coming out of programing so easy to say should off done this or that afterwards (Edited for language!.....) 7. solder them and use small pointed pliers to bend crimps in get a lot better joint
  8. even on a little plane like that prop spins at high rev if you really need to use it take it of and reblance it afterwards if its the very end point ok but further down no
  9. no no no they are really bad many never got past first flight poor engines and some say all the parts were not made  and if you didnt make it can you trust it   Edited By crispin church on 09/12/2013 16:53:19
  10. you need to get cog as on plan what engine are you using should be 46 ish are you doing cog with a full fuel tank ? if you have to have servos at back and rx and battery over tank if not further back deltas can fly slowly you dont have to fly flat all the time and keeps your rates low it worth doing right a good delta is great no fixing wings on no screws to loose or leave behind
  11. this is good to watch Edited By crispin church on 02/12/2013 11:04:26
  12. yes i have multi rotor if DB auto gyro twin head counts
  13. been using life / a123 for years without any regulator using in transmitter as well now as mine only take 4cell unless you are flying for the whole day 1 battery should be fine if you need to add lead then use 2 battery one on engine 1 for rx
  14. specktrum dx7s is that sort of price i would go taranis but i got pc and love all that sort of programing
  15. the imax is a good all rounder can even charge you car battery with it i use a old computer power surply you get 5volts and 12 volts from it or a lap top power surply but they often will not give enough when charging at high rates
  16. my battery just behind tank i use same life battery for a lead use a normal servo lead and take end sleeve off on the pins fits a treat and on a b6 charger balance plug and got 3 planes with the battery left in all time
  17. i used a emax 2826 with battery right up front no lead needed on a 11x7
  18. check on meter if 3 cell still charged ok then use it a little puffing up dont hurt if its flat try a slow charge and see what happens just dont charge it on the wifes new dinning room tabble
  19. well from this thread i have learnt so much thank you all no i dont have a incidence meter the cog calc i use most say a 124mm not 110mm cog so trying that next time out and will also try front of wing higher as well and report back
