  1. I ordered mine from Inwoodsmodels, here. Mine got hit by heli blade, when trying to set it up. Ordered 2, just in case. £5,39 for one.
  2. I managed to find PA models here. Unfortunately no Addiction or Addiction X.
  3. From my experience it`s common problem with e-max motors. A bit of thread lock helps. SInce my last post i changed motor for this. i`m using it with 7x4 up to 7x6 prop, and 25A turnigy plush esc, and 4 x HXT900 servos.  Batteries from 1000 3S up to 1600 3S. Made some cooling holes with soldering iron on both sides of the fuz. Helps to cool things down. Lots of power when needed, and even with 1000 3S plenty of time in the air. One of my favourites planes so far
  4. ultra micro 4 site. even managed to maiden fly it.
  5. 1. Best high street retailer     INWOODS   2. Best mail order retailer     GIANT COD ( great prices and delivery times )   3. Best ARTF kit                      SEAGULL EP DECATHLON ( for me all-time classic fun-flyer )   4. Best UK distributor            HORIZON HOBBY ( dealing with Spektrum receivers )  Cezary
  6. Anyone has done it ? Is it as easy as they say ? Any cheaper solutions than this ?
  7. I`ve sent my AR500 and AR6110e to Horizon Hobby tuesday afternoon as special delivery. Just opened envelope to see that they were replaced with brand new units ( throttle channel failed on both ). ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT SERVICE !!!!!!! Thanks HH.
  8. Well, my 6110e is alive. When you connect esc to AR500 , pins go up, in 6110 pins go down ( visible pins in esc cable socket ). I managed to bind it with my dx6i, so it`s fine. If it`s about AR500, i`ll have to buy new one, as i couldn`t find receipt for mine. Thanks for help and suggestions
  9. Is there a chance that ESC could damage receiver ? Faulty built-in bec etc . I was going to use AR500 from Breeze, but don`t want it happen to yet another one
  10. Doesn`t even power up, when connected to esc + battery. Some time ago i was using 6110 in mini malibu ( f3p indoor shockie ). Bad day i guess
  11. Posted by Tony Cooper on 30/01/2010 20:16:34: If you are suspecting the rx? try replacing the esc with a servo this should confirm the rx output.  Yep. Just tried it. Servo was working on all channels except throttle. What`s the best solution ? Go to shop where i bought it, or send it straight to Horizon Hobby ?  Thanks Tony
  12. Posted by Frank Skilbeck on 30/01/2010 19:46:01: Well you've proved the radio is OK, but it seems strange that you have several faulty ESC's and motors. It would be worth going through them again to try "retraining" them.  Failing that maybe you have a faulty lead/connector on the ESC and Motor, it would be worth checking them, I had an AXI stop on me in flight and when I landed I found one of the motor - ESC connectors had become unplugged.  Well, after some checks of motors and esc`s, they run fine with AR500 from breeze. When i use AR500 from Edge - nothing. I`ll try to check as much i i can.  Thanks for help and suggestions
  13. Posted by Timbo - Administrator on 30/01/2010 19:21:10: Yep, was gonna say the same as Frank - throttle sensing issue. Incidentally, have you done the throttle training stage with the ESC too ?? Edited By Timbo - Administrator on 30/01/2010 19:22:25  The AR500 from breeze goes into training stage when you move throttle stick while motor`s beeping. After couple of initial beeps when connecting esc in edge, there`s nothing going on, either if i move throttle stick or not. Hmmm...
  14. Just connected AR500 from breeze to esc and motor from hyperion edge. They both working. Looks like there`s something wrong with AR500 from edge 540.
  15. Straight after finished building hyperion edge i run motor couple of times for 5, maybe 10 seconds and it was fine.
