  2. Thank you all guys, now we have a bit to work with, it seems batteries, leads, and ignition need to be separated as much as possible, and the rx shielded as with 35 mHz. we have compared 2.4 and 35 mHz and found no interference on 35 mHz no matter how we place rx, batteries etc. Fly safely and don't break too many models. )
  3. Hi Peter, thanks a bunch, yet another source of interference we have not investigated. Is it allowed to transmit more thana 100 mw in GB? In DK the max power is a 100 mw. K.r. Soeren
  4. Thank you Brian, this seems to be a fair explanation of the problems my chum has. We will have to check the wiring from the sensor to the ignition. And Timbo, we have operated 2.4 gHz on other petrolengined, albeit with the sensor and magnet at the front of the engine, models without any problems, so we were as astouned as you are. It seems Brian has come up with an explanation and a solution.
  5. Has anybody experienced interference on 2.4 g's? A friend of mine here in Denmark has a gasoline engined model, where the hall sensor and pick-up magnet(s) are situated at the back of the engine, he has had massive interference  from the lead from the sensor to the ignition (electronic). He has solved the problem by masking this lead with alloy-foil and earthed the insulation to the engine bearers made out of metal. We have tested Spectrum, Graupner IFS in a Futaba FF9 tranny, a proper Futaba 2.4 gHz system, and a very cheap system called Aurora. On both the Spectrum and the Grupner outfits we had massive interference, the elevator went to full up and stayed there!!!
